DESCRIPTION

New Zealand Customs is seeking an activity-based costing software solution to support activity-based costing, cost recovery, levy setting, and the provision of financial advice. The solution should provide cost allocation, modelling, analysis, and reporting capabilities through a secure, scalable, and supported SaaS platform.

The platform must manage, integrate, process, and retain financial and operational data in a transparent and auditable manner. It should support the migration of existing costing models, historical data, and related reporting artefacts, while enabling Customs personnel to administer, maintain, and operate the solution with minimal supplier reliance.

The successful supplier will provide implementation, training, technical support, and ongoing maintenance services. Bidders should demonstrate experience delivering comparable solutions to government, regulated, or large enterprise organisations and provide transparent whole-of-life pricing covering implementation, licensing, support, and ongoing costs. Questions must be submitted by October 22, 2026.
