Account Verification Services

A government authority in Annapolis, Maryland is seeking a contractor to provide account verification services. The selected vendor will support verification and matching processes by supplying available account names, the last four digits of Social Security numbers, dates of birth, and last known addresses associated with each account. The contractor will also provide automated access to Social Security number data, address information, telephone numbers, death records, and bankruptcy information related to certain agency accounts.

The scope includes electronic file processing through secure file transfer for both input and output data. The contractor must process files to return requested death, bankruptcy, address, and Social Security number information for automated matching. In addition, the contractor will provide nine designated agency staff members with online access to the contractor's databases for manual searches involving bankruptcy, death, address, and Social Security number information.

Security requirements include criminal background checks for all contractor personnel before they begin providing services under the contract. The anticipated contract term is five years. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for August 12, 2026, and questions are due by August 19, 2026.
