Mississippi Department Of Public Safety
Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
The government authority in Mississippi seeks a qualified vendor to provide accidental death and dismemberment insurance services for a contract period of three years. The selected provider will be responsible for performing all claims processing functions—including the verification of enrollment, determination of benefit coverage, and creation and mailing of explanations of benefits for both paid and denied claims. Vendors must also ensure timely payments and maintain secure storage of claims information to facilitate easy access by customer service representatives.
The individual accident insurance plan should be offered as a guaranteed issue for basic 24-hour coverage, covering incidents both on and off the job. On-the-job benefits should be provided up to the allowable amount and coordinated together with workers’ compensation benefits.
