DESCRIPTION

The City of Summit, through its Department of Community Services – Division of Land Use, is seeking qualified firms or organizations to provide affordable housing counsel. The selected respondent will be required to demonstrate professional, financial, and administrative capabilities to perform these services. The procurement process is subject to the New Jersey Local Unit Pay-to-Play Law and Summit Pay to Play Ordinance 2-90. The City will approve proposals for projects on an as-needed basis.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Must demonstrate professional, financial and administrative capabilities to provide the proposed services
  • Must comply with New Jersey Local Unit Pay-to-Play Law, N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.5 et seq. and Summit Pay to Play Ordinance 2-90
  • Must comply with all local, State and Federal laws as applicable to the contracted services
  • Must submit a copy of the Firm’s New Jersey Business Registration Certificate
  • Must provide an executive summary not to exceed two pages
  • Must provide an executed Letter of Qualification
  • Must provide an executed Letter of Intent
  • Must provide an executed Payment Conditions and Rate Schedules Form
