DESCRIPTION

The City of Carrollton is soliciting proposals to furnish all equipment, materials, and installation services for the WTP SCADA and Filter Control System Improvements Project. The project involves abandoning the existing DeviceNet-based valve control system at the Water Treatment Plant, which currently operates ten conventional filters with 61 valves. The new system will utilize conventional discrete and analog wiring, with each filter having its own dedicated Allen-Bradley PLC and touchscreen for standalone control. Additionally, the integrator will replace the plant’s existing SCADA system with new HMI software and computer hardware. The successful bidder must furnish a performance bond and payment bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the bid.
