DESCRIPTION
The government authority in Alabama is seeking vendors to provide wired and wireless network infrastructure products and services. The scope includes the purchase of network switches, routers, equipment, and other core network hardware, along with maintenance and related training, as offered in the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) product and services catalogs. Covered OEMs include HPE (HPE Aruba Networking, HPE Juniper Networking, and any others as owned by the authority).
Vendors are expected to deliver technical services related to engineering, network equipment, configuration, and network changes, as well as coordinate interfaces with telecommunications carriers and infrastructure providers. Integration services with existing data and telephone network software are also required. The contract expressly excludes network transport services, connectivity services, cloud-based products or solutions, and premise distribution system services.
