The selected vendor will provide website network administration services, including training and technical support, utilizing the WordPress content management system in support of a community archival project. Acting as the main liaison with the incumbent website supplier, the administrator will address and follow up on website performance issues across the network.
Under the guidance of the Development Officer, the administrator will deliver training to community volunteers, focusing on both the digitization of cultural heritage materials to industry standards and the effective use of WordPress CMS. Responsibilities also include facilitating online Digital Champions sessions and leading the technical support service for the team.
The team will assist volunteer groups in developing and maintaining their WordPress-based community archive websites, providing ongoing training and guidance to strengthen their CMS skills and enabling them to manage and enhance their own websites over time.
