DESCRIPTION
The agency is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive website development, hosting, migration, and testing services utilizing the Drupal Content Management System. The scope includes hosting services for a high-traffic, public-facing Drupal website, ensuring a highly secure, reliable, and fast hosting environment.
The selected provider will be responsible for implementing regular security updates and patches for the Drupal core, contributed modules, and themes. Protective measures such as both Web Application Firewall (WAF) and network-level firewall are required to defend against unauthorized access, SQL injection, cross-site scripting, and other application-layer threats. The hosting solution must guarantee fast page load times and a minimum uptime of 99.9% for the production environment, with downtime tracked and reported monthly.
Vendors must provide and manage three separate environments (development, testing, and production) for the Drupal site, ensuring seamless migration across these environments. Additional requirements include tools for performance and load monitoring, rapid resolution of production environment issues, and full server administration and maintenance as part of managed hosting services. The solution should offer a user-friendly control panel for managing the Drupal site, including domain and database management, and support for the successful migration of the existing Drupal website to the new hosting platform.
