Web Application and GIS Developer Services

The consultant will provide web application and GIS development services, beginning with analysis of approved functional and technical requirements and preparation of detailed designs for GIS, route-management, and user-facing application enhancements.

The work includes enhancing route visualization and geospatial representation; managing routes, itineraries, stops, road segments, and cartographic reference data; and developing functionality for manual itinerary creation and route editing. The consultant will implement configurable route-modification logic, validate route geometry and associated business data, and support the import and updating of road networks, border-crossing points, and other agreed geospatial layers and nomenclatures.

The consultant will also implement synchronization between GIS route objects and the e-AT Route Register through backend APIs and services, including status handling and user-facing error and validation messages. Additional responsibilities include developing route and trip management workflows, route registration and modification functions, authorization-related information displays, validation rules, workflow controls, analytical and operational reports, data exports, and multilingual classifiers, nomenclatures, forms, and configurable interface elements.
