The government authority in Derby, CT is seeking qualified vendors to provide value engineering services for a comprehensive upgrade of the wastewater treatment plant. The selected firm will deliver Value Engineering (VE) services for proposed upgrades, including thorough review of project documents, site visitation to assess design and constructability issues, and coordination of all communications related to this initiative.

As part of the project, the vendor will identify a VE Facilitator to lead in-person VE workshops in collaboration with the agency’s consultant and VE team. The workshop will concentrate on analyzing the 30% preliminary design drawings and will focus on aspects such as construction phasing that maximizes continuous plant operations, evaluation of alternative concepts at a conceptual level, and the development of an Opinion of Probable Construction Cost (OPCC).
