A turnkey solution is sought for the replacement of mass notification and paging systems within New Mexico schools. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing and installing a comprehensive system that replaces existing intercom hardware and acts as the central hub for all intercom communications, overhead and emergency paging, class change bells, and emergency alert tones. This complete communication solution must effectively cover all areas of the school building, including classrooms, administrative offices, common spaces, and outdoor recreational zones.

The scope of work requires that communication downtime is strictly avoided during school operations. To ensure continuity, the contractor must implement an interim communication solution that serves the entire site throughout the replacement process. The project also calls for the delivery of detailed layout drawings and block diagrams that map out the communication system’s components and their functional connections. The new system must allow for the initiation of emergency notifications through both internet browsers and phone systems.
