DESCRIPTION


The government authority in Malibu, California is seeking a vendor to provide treasury services under a two-year contract. The selected firm will support the City as a proactive financial partner by monitoring cash inflows, outflows, and short-term cash needs, while helping ensure sound cash management and treasury operations.

Scope of work includes responsibility for the safe deposit of all moneys in the custody of the City, periodic review of surplus cash investments in accordance with City Council-adopted investment policies, and review of warrant registers, receipts and disbursement schedules, the City budget, monthly bank reconciliations, and annual independent audit materials. The vendor will also prepare monthly investment reports, conduct annual reviews of banking services, and perform other audit-related reviews as requested.
