A government authority in Lincolnton, North Carolina is seeking a qualified vendor to provide professional transportation engineering services. The scope includes preparing traffic impact analyses and delivering related traffic engineering support to ensure timely and cost-effective solutions for proposed developments and changes within the region.
Key responsibilities involve pre-scoping and coordination with applicants and county staff, as well as data collection such as turning movement counts, 24-hour volume counts, and other relevant traffic data to thoroughly understand current transportation conditions. Vendors will also be responsible for applying necessary adjustments including pass-by, internal capture, and modal reduction where applicable, and conducting capacity and operations analyses with emphasis on queuing, storage, and turn lane adequacy at critical intersections and access points.
All vendor questions regarding this RFP must be submitted by June 2, 2026.
