The City of San Bernardino is seeking a qualified consultant to provide comprehensive traffic engineering services for a one-year contract. The selected consultant will support the Public Works and Utility Services Engineering Division with a range of traffic engineering activities, including intersection analysis, collection and interpretation of traffic count data, trip generation studies, and evaluation of policy area compliance.
Additional responsibilities include conducting traffic modeling, designing and reviewing traffic signal plans, performing signal warrant analyses, and checking traffic control plans. The consultant will also serve as a technical resource for the city’s traffic committee and assist with various traffic-related studies. These services will address traffic safety concerns and support city staff in managing issues related to municipal projects and private development. All questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted by March 4, 2026.
