DESCRIPTION

The procuring entity is seeking a vendor to provide independent third-party scheduler and claims consultant services for a construction project in Ontario, Canada. The selected consultant will review, monitor, and provide recommendations to help control the project schedule, support coordination among project components, minimize impacts, and reduce the potential for claims.

The scope includes reviewing baseline schedules, conducting monthly schedule monitoring, and supplying any required scheduling tools. The project uses the latest version of Primavera P6 software, and the consultant is responsible for sourcing its own software and licenses. The assignment also includes claims assessment services, which may involve detailed review and analysis of claim documentation, construction schedules, contractor justifications, change orders, and related correspondence.

The consultant is expected to analyze baseline and critical path activities affected by change orders or delay events, assess the reasonableness of activity durations, evaluate logic and interdependencies within the schedule, verify claimed delay durations, and provide cost analysis related to claims. Proponents are also asked to demonstrate experience in identifying, analyzing, and managing construction claims, including approaches and strategies for claim resolution. Questions are due by May 18, 2026.
