The issuing organization is seeking a vendor to provide third-party claims administration services in Alabama. The scope includes claim intake, investigation, compensability determinations, and administration of statutory benefits in accordance with applicable law. Services also include indemnity calculation and payment, reserve setting and periodic reserve adequacy reviews, subrogation identification and recovery, regulatory reporting, and required filings.
The selected vendor will also be responsible for medical management and utilization review, medical bill review, nurse case management through both telephonic and field services, pharmacy benefit management, return-to-work coordination, litigation and defense counsel management, and oversight of related service providers such as medical, bill review, nurse case management, and pharmacy vendors. Questions are due by May 15, 2026, and the anticipated contract term is one year.
