DESCRIPTION

This RFP seeks a vendor to provide comprehensive third party claims administration services for a four-year contract period. Key responsibilities include conducting claims investigations, determining compensability, managing claim and expense payments, handling litigation, overseeing medical case management, and ensuring overall claim file management with timely report completion and filing.

The selected provider will investigate reported incidents, claims, or losses thoroughly to assess liabilities. Additional requirements include medical cost containment services, such as access to preferred provider organization (PPO) networks, medical bill review, pharmacy and provider fee negotiation, and hospital bill review with prompt payment negotiation as needed. A dedicated unit staffed with professionally trained and appropriately licensed claims personnel is required to deliver excellence in all service areas.
