(1) Vendor needs to provide telephone system. – Implement a modern voice over internet protocol (VOIP) telephone system. – Telephone and voicemail the features available with convergence include to fault tolerance and replication, email and cell phone integration, call reporting and line consolidation. – Fiber optic network that will be leveraged for a new VoIP deployment. – Sufficient dark fiber is available to support VoIP on a dedicated network where required. – Switches and routers are cisco, and we expect any proposed VoIP solution to operate seamlessly within that environment. – The solution must enhance reliability, support failover, comply with public safety regulations, and improve communication for 1,000+ devices. – Three interconnected data centers with UPS, generators and cooling. – An extensive dark fiber backbone with sufficient capacity for VOIP. – Cisco based networking infrastructure. – The phone systems currently in buildings are Samsung systems.
