DESCRIPTION


The government authority in North Carolina is seeking a vendor to provide subsurface utility engineering services. The selected firm will be responsible for coordinating with utility providers to research the locations of existing facilities and securing all relevant record drawings, plats, maps, and other necessary information from these providers.

The vendor will designate, record, and mark the horizontal location of underground utilities, maintaining a horizontal accuracy of plus or minus 1.5 feet. The scope includes identifying and resolving any discrepancies between the information from utility providers and the findings from subsurface utility engineering investigations. The firm must also provide recommendations for additional, more detailed investigations as deemed necessary by the Town.
