A government authority in Springfield, Missouri is seeking a vendor to provide structured data cabling services under a two-year contract. The selected contractor will support existing installations and deliver design, furnishing, and installation services for future network cabling projects.
The scope includes end-to-end data cabling services such as needs analysis, usage planning, system design, procurement, integration, installation, and ongoing maintenance. Required capabilities include supplying and installing horizontal data cabling, backbone fiber optic cabling and related components, and providing fiber optic or copper cabling wherever network connectivity is needed.
All network cabling must terminate at a patch panel, wall port, or surface mount box and connect via patch cables rather than being run directly to switch ports or equipment. The vendor must also provide network cable certification upon request. A pre-proposal conference is scheduled for May 14, 2026, and questions are due by May 20, 2026.
