The organization is seeking a vendor to provide strategy development, workshop organization, and facilitation services in support of a strategic planning initiative connected to its Equity Project. The initiative is intended to strengthen the community through compassion, volunteerism, education, and community engagement inspired by Islamic values.
The selected vendor will help build the organization's capacity, enhance governance and long-term sustainability, improve community engagement, and position the organization as a trusted and collaborative partner within the settlement and community service sector. The work will involve leading an inclusive strategic planning process that engages the board, volunteers, community members, and other stakeholders.
Scope of work includes reviewing existing documents and organizational background, facilitating one strategic planning focus group, conducting one community needs assessment, facilitating one stakeholder engagement and strategy launch event, engaging with the board as required, preparing and presenting the final strategic plan, and recommending additional activities or tools that could strengthen the process. The outcome is expected to be a practical and actionable strategic plan to guide organizational growth and support responsive, sustainable programs and services.
