DESCRIPTION

The District seeks a consultant to provide strategic planning services and coordinate directly with the superintendent or designated project leader throughout the contract period. The consultant will provide consultation and support for planning, reporting, and completion of the required strategic planning activities.

The work includes contributing ideas to the planning process; developing and implementing a needs assessment with profiles and outcomes; and collaborating with staff, students, and the community to revise the District’s mission statement and vision. The consultant will also identify and inventory current District services and prepare a matrix of other available services.

The consultant will conduct a gap analysis of existing services and programs, identify unmet needs, and provide recommendations with measurable outcomes. The engagement will result in a strategic plan containing goals and priorities, strategies, and performance indicators. Outreach will include in-person sessions and/or surveys involving staff, students in grades 4–8, parents with multilingual support needs, and business partners.
