DESCRIPTION
The selected vendor will provide strategic planning consulting services to help establish a self-sustaining, inclusive economic ecosystem that redistributes power, fosters shared wealth, and empowers historically disinvested neighborhoods to participate in economic prosperity. The consulting partner will support the organization's efforts to align expansion, institutional development, and visibility, reinforcing its role as a convener, think tank, and project implementer, while amplifying community impact, partnerships, and leadership.
Key deliverables include a comprehensive 3- or 5-year strategic plan featuring a SWOT analysis, well-defined objectives, indicators and measures of success, a theory of change, and an actionable implementation strategy presented in both report and presentation formats. The consultant will also prepare a financial plan projecting three years of operational and budgetary expenses.
Responsibilities encompass facilitating values-driven sessions with staff, board members, and key partners in virtual, in-person, and hybrid formats, orchestrating an all-staff retreat, and conducting consultations with stakeholders, partners, and comparable organizations. Coordination and consultation with fund development and communications consultants—both current and prospective—are also required.
