The state of Texas is seeking a qualified vendor to develop and manage a secure research enclave designed for the protection of sensitive federal data. The project requires the creation of a cloud-hosted environment that is fully compliant with all 110 security requirements of NIST SP 800-171 revision 2, ensuring the safeguarding of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and other federally regulated data.
The selected vendor will be responsible for assessing the current IT infrastructure of the agency, designing and implementing a secure enclave, and providing researchers with a compliant platform for data storage, processing, and analysis. The secure environment must include robust data storage, high-performance computing resources, and virtual workstation capabilities tailored to the needs of sensitive research workloads. The contract for these services will span three years.
