Ontario is seeking a qualified vendor to provide cloud-hosted managed services for the SAS IFRS 17 application. The selected vendor will assess the current SAS IFRS 17 application infrastructure and architecture, and propose a comprehensive future state design for managed hosting services that encompasses sizing, security, and integration needs. The vendor will develop and execute a project plan to migrate from the existing environment to the new hosted solution, with provisions for both production and non-production environments.
Responsibilities include the installation and configuration of the latest version of SAS IFRS 17 for Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) delivery, migration of current data repositories, and re-establishment of integration points with on-premises infrastructure. The solution must be aligned with current financial reporting configurations and support 25 concurrent users. The vendor will ensure robust security and compliance measures, such as an annual SOC2 Type II report, seven-year data retention, and support for third-party audits. Business continuity objectives include a Recovery Point Objective of less than 4 hours and a Recovery Time Objective of less than 24 hours, with monthly data backups and restoration as needed. Ongoing support includes timely application of patches and upgrades to the SAS IFRS 17 platform. The contract will be for a period of five years.
