DESCRIPTION

This request for information seeks input from qualified vendors to develop a modular, standards-based digital intermediate frequency (Digital IF) solution. The project aims to implement a flexible Digital IF architecture across up to 18 major teleport sites worldwide. The chosen solution should ensure interoperability of all Digital IF equipment both within and between these teleport locations.

Key requirements include the integration, installation, and testing of the Digital IF system at each teleport, supported by both immediate and ongoing logistics and software maintenance. The solution must also enable automation of system management functions such as mission descriptions, scheduling, implementation, and status reporting. Compliance with current and emerging satellite industry standards, including the ability to meet the wideband global satellite (WGS) certification process, is essential for this effort.
