DESCRIPTION

Management & Training Corporation (MTC) is soliciting bids for a qualified industrial hygiene consultant to conduct a respirable crystalline silica exposure assessment at the Edison Job Corps Center. The assessment will evaluate potential student and instructor exposures during brick trade training activities, including fire clay mixing, brick and tile cutting, and sand handling. The consultant is required to perform a site assessment, develop and implement a personal breathing-zone air sampling plan, analyze samples, evaluate results against OSHA standards, and provide a written report with recommendations and a corrective action plan. The project location is 500 Plainfield Ave, Edison, NJ 08817.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Must have demonstrated experience in occupational exposure assessment and industrial hygiene
Must have experience in respirable crystalline silica sampling and interpretation of laboratory results
Must provide proof of insurance including general liability, auto, and worker's compensation
Must provide three references for projects of similar scope
Must self-certify under NAICS code 541380
Must provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) listing MTC as an additional insured
