DESCRIPTION

The government authority in Colorado is seeking consulting firms to provide comprehensive Rail Station Area Plan services for the Town. The scope of work includes preparing a detailed plan that assesses connectivity to key activity centers such as the downtown commercial core and the airport, and evaluates accessibility via various modes of transportation including transit, walking, biking, driving, and available parking.

Firms will individually analyze potential sites to determine their viability as stations for mountain passenger rail, focusing on their potential designation as neighborhood centers, transit-oriented developments (TODs), and mobility hubs. The analysis should demonstrate alignment with the Town's master plan and strategic growth objectives. In addition, the selected firm will develop a feasible fiscal strategy to support both station area development and the proposed associated land uses.
