The goal is to enhance the reliability and safety of ground operator communications, supporting efficient ground traffic management in the designated ramp area.

The selected vendor will be responsible for configuring the system software, including setting up communication protocols, assigning American, American Eagle, and East and West Ground Frequencies, and establishing operator profiles. The work includes integrating the new platform with existing air traffic management systems and auxiliary airport equipment.

Comprehensive testing is required, including functional tests to verify compliance with design specifications, on-site RF signal strength and coverage assessments using a radio-equipped aircraft or vehicle, and final acceptance testing with ground operators and stakeholders to ensure operational readiness.
