DESCRIPTION

The agency is seeking a vendor to provide public relations services with a strong emphasis on legislative monitoring, analysis, and stakeholder engagement. The selected firm will be expected to identify, monitor, and respond to bills that affect or could affect the agency, including legislation with fiscal impacts identified by the agency.

The scope of work includes keeping the executive director, or designee, informed of relevant activities through phone calls at least weekly or as otherwise requested. The vendor must also report any potential conflicts of interest immediately, collaborate with the executive director to develop and implement a legislative agenda for the board, and build and maintain effective working relationships with legislators, government officials, partner associations, and related organizations. Research and analysis of bills are also required.
