A consulting opportunity is available in California for professional SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system development solutions. The consultant will be responsible for designing the underlying database structure to support logbook functionality and will work to enhance the system’s alarm management and event tracking capabilities. A key aspect of this role involves designing and implementing a combined, table-based display for an integrated view of SCADA information.

Additional requirements include refining object and graphic linework for consistent readability and aesthetics in both dark and light interface modes, integrating essential software platforms with the new Ignition SCADA environment, enabling direct workflow connections as well as hyperlink-based access to external systems, and providing user-specific dashboards for personalized data viewing. The consultant will also digitize the rounds process for improved data accessibility and efficiency, implement conditional alarm suppression tied to equipment states, and handle historical data migration while resolving potential schema, data type, and time-series challenges.
