DESCRIPTION


The government authority in Missouri is seeking professional engineering services to support an electric cost-of-service and rate study. The selected vendor will review the utility’s financial performance, revenues, expenditures, and purchased power costs; analyze customer usage and customer classes; conduct a cost-of-service study; evaluate the current rate structure; and recommend fair and equitable rate adjustments that support the utility’s long-term financial stability.

The engagement will also include an evaluation of the electrical system, including distribution system reliability and capacity, feeders and substations, transformers and protective equipment, overhead and underground infrastructure, system loading, and losses.

In addition, the vendor will develop immediate-, mid-term-, and long-term infrastructure recommendations.
