The government authority in Santa Fe, New Mexico is seeking professional engineering services for the redesign and reconstruction of a water diversion and treatment-related facility. The selected vendor will support engineering evaluation and design activities for infrastructure that must divert, convey, and treat varying daily and monthly water diversion volumes based on water demand and source water availability.
Scope of work includes evaluation of hydraulic and sediment loading, refinement of the intake structure, and development of target turbidity and suspended sediment concentration criteria along with associated sediment removal performance upstream of the raw water lift pumps. The project also requires development of a construction phasing approach that allows continued limited facility operations during construction, including diagrammed sequencing for the proposed alternative intake.
