Orange, VA is seeking qualified vendors to provide professional engineering and architectural services for a range of municipal projects. These projects include, but are not limited to, parks, recreation centers, firehouses, landfill expansions, and the development of new office facilities.

The selected firm will be responsible for a variety of tasks such as evaluating and designing water and sewer facilities, including rehabilitation options, as well as improving wastewater pumping and water booster stations, well facilities, and water storage tanks. Additional services may include water system modeling, support for the design and operation of solid waste facilities, addressing regulatory issues, and providing site plan engineering and surveying related to environmental considerations, storm water management, traffic impact analysis, road design, erosion and sediment control, and geotechnical services. Construction administration and inspection services for capital improvement projects are also within the scope of work.

Vendors will be expected to collect and review all relevant reports, maps, drawings, as-built plans, and data from previous studies and agencies. They will analyze both historical and current information to identify data gaps and establish baselines for thorough project evaluation. The contract will span a three-year period.
