The selected supplier is required to ensure that all software, graphical user interfaces (GUIs), and web portals offered to the agency are developed in accordance with the agency's most recent secure coding and design standards. Suppliers must fully disclose all features in the provided software and hardware, including administrative backdoors or similar functionalities.

Before delivering the solution, the vendor must carry out system hardening activities such as disabling guest accounts, updating malware and virus definitions, and turning off unused ports and services. The supplier will collaborate with the agency to delineate roles and responsibilities, especially concerning ongoing patching, upgrade processes, and vulnerability management for all supplied hardware and software throughout the contract term and any post-warranty period that may be negotiated.
