The government authority in Ardsley, New York is seeking planning, landscape architecture, and environmental consulting firms, or qualified consultant teams, to update the county’s parks and recreation master plan. The updated plan is intended to provide a comprehensive and actionable roadmap for the future development, enhancement, management, and long-term sustainability of the county’s parks, open space, trails, recreation amenities, and natural resources over the next 15 to 20 years.
The scope includes preparation and implementation of a robust public engagement strategy designed to support project goals. At a minimum, this strategy is expected to include community meetings, surveys, pop-up events, stakeholder interviews, and digital engagement tools. The selected vendor will also be expected to provide regular project updates.
In addition, the consultant will analyze demographic, environmental, and local recreation and leisure trends, including the types of recreation facilities and activities preferred by county residents. Questions related to the solicitation must be submitted no later than May 22, 2026.
