A facility in British Columbia is seeking a prime electrical consultant engineer to deliver comprehensive engineering and design services for the modernization and integration of its current nurse call system and Wanderguard Blue resident safety system. The project aims to implement an integrated platform that streamlines communication, alert management, and resident safety monitoring across all care areas of the facility.

The updated system will encompass all care areas, 19 exit doors, and 5 nurse stations, ensuring direct integration with existing access control, fire alarm, and IT infrastructure. The engineering design must fully incorporate agency security, access control, fire alarm, and network requirements to ensure seamless functionality between communication and wander-management systems.

The selected vendor will be responsible for preparing Division 26/27 specifications suitable for tender and construction phases, including IT components for network integration and IP addressing.
