SUMMARY

USACE New York District seeks contractor feedback for future non-AE construction management and technical phase support services for projects in the New York area. This RFI is part of market research before a potential five-year contract solicitation.

DESCRIPTION

The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) New York District is conducting market research to identify contractors capable of providing non-Architecture/Engineering (non-AE) services for construction management and technical phase support on USACE projects within the New York Area, including the US Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA). The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to gather industry feedback regarding the requirements for these services as part of the Government’s acquisition planning and market research phase.

The anticipated contract is a five-year, firm fixed price task order with a potential value of $25 million, focused on supporting construction management needs excluding those defined as AE or direct construction services in federal regulations. Services may include interpreting, communicating, clarifying, and implementing finalized designs, as well as documenting and managing project meeting minutes. These efforts are intended to assist ongoing USACE engineering and public works initiatives in the region.

Responses to this RFI will guide the development of the official solicitation and acquisition strategy but do not constitute an offer or guarantee of future contract award. The Government welcomes feedback from all interested and qualified contractors regarding the requirements and possible improvements, and business of all sizes under the relevant NAICS code are encouraged to respond.
