SUMMARY

One-year solicitation for integrated infrastructure modernization in Texas, including hardware refresh, deployment services, automation, patch management, and support for AI/ML and high-performance computing workloads. The work also includes migration planning, observability improvements, and operational transition support.

DESCRIPTION

The issuing organization is seeking a vendor to provide next-generation integrated infrastructure systems as part of a broader modernization effort. The project includes replacing and upgrading existing infrastructure to improve compute density, support AI and machine learning workloads, increase energy efficiency, and enable automation-first operations. The initiative emphasizes software-defined infrastructure, infrastructure-as-code, and platform engineering principles to standardize and modernize the technology stack.

Scope of work includes staff augmentation, rack staging and integration, pre-shipment testing, installation and site integration, system migrations, operations readiness planning, resident support, ongoing patch management services, Ansible playbook development, and ongoing system health checks. The selected vendor will also be expected to procure, stage, ship, install, and configure infrastructure that aligns with the target architecture and replaces identified legacy hardware.

The project also calls for reducing operational overhead through AI-assisted monitoring, unified observability dashboards, and proactive analytics focused on system and operational metrics. In addition, the vendor will develop and execute a transition plan for operating the new environment, including staff training and updates to operational procedures. The contract term is one year, and questions are due by May 18, 2026.
