The system must automatically capture and record license plate images along with relevant metadata such as date, time, location, and plate number for every vehicle entering and exiting parking facilities. It should match captured license plates with active permits and payment records to verify compliance, continuously monitoring parked vehicles and analyzing the collected data in real time to identify violations. The system should alert enforcement officers to suspected violations as they travel along designated routes.

Vendors should ensure their solution offers robust integration capabilities, including support for open APIs to connect with payment platforms, DMV lookup services, and third-party applications. Essential data management features include configurable retention schedules, access logging and audit trails, role-based user permissions, export capabilities to standard formats, as well as real-time monitoring, analytics, and comprehensive historical search and reporting functions.
