The government authority in Alaska is seeking a vendor to provide mental health assistive technology services. The scope includes outreach and public awareness activities to inform potential participants and referral partners about available assistive technology services, as well as development and distribution of related educational materials.
Services also include information and assistance for individuals seeking guidance on assistive technology options and uses, along with referrals to complementary programs and providers. The selected vendor will deliver person-centered consultation and assessments to identify functional barriers and recommend technology solutions across areas such as communication, mobility, vision, hearing, cognition, daily living, and home safety.
The contract also covers provision of assistive technology devices based on individualized needs and recommendations, including coordination of device distribution for rural and remote communities. Additional responsibilities include maintaining inventory and asset tracking systems where applicable, providing individualized training for participants and caregivers, offering professional training for providers and support staff, and delivering troubleshooting and technical support.
