DESCRIPTION

The vendor will provide market research, industry mapping, and buyer profiling services focused on Pakistan’s textile and apparel value chain, with particular attention to hemp fiber and hemp-blend segments. The research methodology will cover raw fiber sourcing, spinning, weaving, finishing, and finished-goods manufacturing. The vendor will identify and profile at least 15–20 high-potential buyers, processors, importers, or textile manufacturers that have expressed interest in evaluating U.S. hemp fiber inputs.

The assignment will map production volumes, export destinations, sustainability commitments, and current fiber-sourcing patterns within Pakistan’s textile industry, particularly in Faisalabad, Karachi, and Lahore. It will also include at least ten in-depth trade interviews with influential textile manufacturers and key industry stakeholders across these cities. Interviews will assess awareness of U.S. industrial hemp attributes and purchasing requirements, measure increased interest or requests for follow-up information, and support the development of business relationships with industry members who can promote expanded market access for U.S. industrial hemp fiber.

The contract period will be one year. All questions must be submitted no later than September 4, 2026.
