DESCRIPTION

A government authority in Alberta is seeking a managed IT services provider to deliver IT infrastructure and security support. Core services include backup and disaster recovery, scale cluster and server management, endpoint and mobile device management, and after-hours service-level support.

The selected provider will be responsible for designing and operating an offsite, immutable backup and disaster recovery solution with validated restores and no coverage gap during transition. The incumbent backup appliance will remain in place until an operational replacement path is established. The provider will also operate the three-node HyperCore cluster and its declining estate, manage operating systems and patching, and respond to hardware failures affecting the BSRC physical host.

Additional responsibilities include Autopilot workstation deployment support and Microsoft Intune administration as a security control. Planned in-term initiatives include expanded conditional access and device-based access controls. The supplier will also manage the identity layer supporting Microsoft 365 and provide named after-hours response coverage.
