DESCRIPTION
A government authority in Fairfax, Washington, DC is seeking vendors to provide IT hardware and services. The required computer systems will be Intel-based, business-grade PCs and related system accessories. Standard business desktops will support tasks such as word processing, spreadsheet analysis, database management, business graphics, statistical analysis, internet access, and other office automation activities.
High-end desktops are needed for application developers working with GIS, CASE tools, high-level language development, CAD, internet application development, and other advanced applications. Laptops for traveling or remote users must have both wired and wireless networking capabilities and should support typical office and business productivity functions. The expected system lifecycle for all devices is a minimum of 14 months.
Vendors should have in-house quality assurance and testing processes for all built equipment and offer asset management and tracking capabilities, including real-time information access. Additionally, programs for product incentives, credits, rebates, or similar benefits are desired for all purchases.
