DESCRIPTION


The City of Cape Coral, Florida is seeking a vendor to provide investment management services for the city's separate investment portfolio. The selected firm will be responsible for managing the portfolio on a daily basis in accordance with the city's stated investment objectives and investment policy, while supporting overall treasury and cash management needs.

Scope of services includes portfolio management, investment custodian support, cash flow projection coordination with city staff, compliance with the city's investment policy, and execution support through trade tickets and transaction documentation. The vendor will also provide monthly statements covering investment activity, earnings, and portfolio valuation, along with credit analysis of investment instruments and quarterly and annual performance reporting.

Additional responsibilities include annual cash flow analysis, ad hoc statistical reporting, presentations to the city's investment committee, staff, and City Council, and assistance in evaluating custodial services and ongoing securities safekeeping needs. The firm must also provide eight hours of continuing professional education investment training to city employees at no cost. Questions are due by May 15, 2026.
