The issuing organization is seeking a vendor to provide international travel trade representation services focused on the German-speaking market, specifically Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, with an option to expand services to Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. The objective is to strengthen brand recognition and visitor demand for the destination, with particular emphasis on ecotourism offerings such as beaches, parks, fishing, boating and sailing, paddle sports, eco tours, harbor, island, and river cruises, and other water- and wildlife-based experiences.
The selected vendor will support year-round market representation by serving as a local source of information for consumers, tour operators, and travel agents regarding tourism-related assets. Responsibilities include translation and content localization for marketing, public relations, and sales materials to ensure messaging is accurately adapted for German-speaking audiences.
The vendor will also oversee distribution of approved content to tour operators and media partners and monitor social media channels, websites, and published materials to ensure destination information remains accurate and aligned with brand standards. The anticipated contract term is one year.
