DESCRIPTION
The government authority located in Rochester, New York is seeking an insurance broker of record to support its insurance and risk management needs. The selected vendor will gather required exposure and loss data from the County to develop coverage specifications and support the placement and administration of insurance coverage.
The scope includes establishing and maintaining, in coordination with County personnel, a current listing of all real and personal property owned or leased by the County that is intended to be insured. The broker will also analyze and recommend efficient procedures for administering the County’s insurance and risk management programs.
In addition, the broker will advise the County Attorney when new insurance coverages become available and consult on whether such coverages should be obtained. The selected firm will also provide insurance requirements guidance and risk management training to County staff as needed.
