The government authority in Virginia is seeking a vendor to provide infrastructure asset management consulting services to support its city asset management program. The consultant will assist with continued development of the program according to IAM standards, which includes identifying risks for all asset classes and helping to prioritize and budget maintenance work, rehabilitation projects, and programs.
The program uses a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) called Asset Management to plan, track, schedule, and report on all maintenance activities. The consultant will leverage data and analysis capabilities to create a cohesive program across various operational domains. Responsibilities will include analyzing the consequences and likelihood of asset failure, assessing and recommending acceptable risk levels, recommending asset maintenance or replacement, and establishing budgetary cost estimates for future projects.
Additional tasks include reviewing and analyzing asset data, developing studies and reports, supporting system integration between Asset Management and other City applications, improving workflow processes, and creating data dashboards for business intelligence reporting solutions. Questions regarding the RFP must be submitted by February 25, 2026, and a pre-bid meeting is scheduled for February 18, 2026.
