The government authority in Frederick, Maryland is seeking an information technology managed service provider to deliver ongoing network, application, infrastructure, monitoring, and security services. Support is expected to be provided through a combination of remote administration and on-site assistance as needed.
The selected provider will monitor primary and secondary internet services, notify the authority's IT team of service degradation, disruptions, and restoration, and coordinate with internet service providers to resolve connectivity issues. The scope also includes management and monitoring of the firewall, with support for maintaining blocked address and domain lists through direct access or service tickets. The environment includes Cisco Meraki MS225-48FP cloud-managed switches supplying Power over Ethernet to the network.
In addition, the provider will deliver licensing, installation, and support for key business applications such as Microsoft Office 365, Adobe, Zoom, and other cybersecurity and support tools. The provider will also configure and maintain Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and OneDrive access for staff and external users, while providing end-user support to resolve technical issues.
