Information Technology Laboratory Commercial Solutions Opening

The Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) Information Technology Laboratory (ITL) is issuing a Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) for the competitive selection of innovative products, services, or technologies. This solicitation will consider proposals from a wide range of fields, with all submissions treated as commercial items, including those not yet commercially available. Evaluations are conducted by subject matter experts within ERDC and other federal agencies, leading to firm-fixed price contracts developed and executed using commercial procedures in compliance with relevant DFARS regulations.

The CSO seeks solutions that support integrated digital transformation, advanced computing, secure and resilient systems, and data–driven decision–making to address complex defense and civil works challenges. Both existing and new technologies or procedures that could enhance or streamline mission capabilities are of interest. The announcement remains open on a continuous basis for one year from the original posting date, and additional program requirements with specific end results, context, funding profiles, and deadlines may be added in the future. All awards will abide by commercial acquisition procedures, and entities such as universities or non-profits must ensure proposals align with commercial contracting clauses and are coordinated with appropriate legal counsel.
